Description:

Support the next step in Third Coast Percussion's evolution as a Chicago institution! This fun and quirky event at TCP's industrial rehearsal space will feature free food and drinks, a unique performance, and a variety of silent auction items, including the opportunity to perform with Third Coast at the end of the night! Composer Augusta Read Thomas will talk about the ground-breaking new work she'll be composing for Third Coast Percussion, and the ensemble will perform selections from the DVD of John Cage's music that they will record a week later.
